Application: LTL Alert

LTL Alert is a dispatch software system for the trucking industry that links drivers with Mike or Nextel phones to the trucking companies’ back-end computer systems. Dispatchers can send messages to drivers and drivers can respond immediately without having to make a voice call. Anyone in the company can view the immediate status of pick-ups and deliveries as they happen.

The dispatch software is ‘plug-and-play’ and uses an Internet connection. Costs are based on usage and the software is easily scalable so both small and large trucking company can gain value and reduce costs.
