GeoManager, the mobile resource management application by @Road, is the leading Internet-based management and service solution for companies with a mobile workforce. GeoManager uses the Global Positioning Satellite (GPS) system to pinpoint vehicle location. A compact GPS computer unit, called an Internet Location Manager or iLM, is mounted in a vehicle and it is directly connected to the vehicle's power supply. This unit collects information from GPS satellites every 15 minutes and relays the information through the MIKE network to an @Road server. By logging into your GeoManager account on the @Road server, you have to access information on vehicle positions, historical paths, etc. displayed on detailed zoom-able street maps. GeoManager is comprised of both software and hardware components.
